CEREM
The José Maria Neves Musicological Reference Centre (CEREM) is a non-profit cultural entity, located in São João del-Rei, dedicated to the preservation of the musical memory of the state of Minas Gerais, with special emphasis on musical activity in the region of Campos das Vertentes, which has been showing great vitality since the beginning of the 18th century.
The CEREM is part of the national effort to preserve the cultural heritage through the production, dissemination of information and technical scientific knowledge related to the musical activities.
